Don't be a Good Person; Do What's Not Expected
Most of us want to do the right thing. Sometimes we succeed. Sometimes we opt for a another path. But rarely do we need someone else to tell us what is right. We know. It's a question of doing. In today's sermon Fr. Garrett explains how the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) reveals how sometimes the "good" people are not the ones we expect. What differentiates the truly faithful of God is that they often defy conventional norms to respond to the needs of others and bring light to the world. When was the last time you chose to step out of line from what everyone else typically does in order to unleash blessing around you?
